The salt and pepper set is a form that encompasses all my interests as a clay artist.  It duel functions on a utilitarian level as home décor or to shake spices on your food.  It is often small in scale (a big plus for me) and combines multiple components. 

This set, which fits in the palm of your hand, features a combination of terra sigillata and underglaze brushed over abstracted floral slip-trailed drawings.  The outside includes waxy, velvety, and shiny surfaces.
