This workshop takes a deep dive into Liz’s process from start to finish. She will share technical strategies as well insight into the concepts that lie within her work.
Discussion and demonstrations include:
The making and using of patterns
Basic handbuilding techniques such as rolling, beveling, and folding a slab
The technique of darting through the vein of a cup and cream and sugar set
Surface depth: slip trailing, stenciling, making and applying terra sigillata
Early in her professional career, Liz found that one of the most challenging parts in her creative process was personalizing her work. She hopes that by sharing her journey, it will assist others to propel and find their voice within their work.
Fee: $180. This fee includes the workshop, materials provided by the instructor, and a $20 non-refundable registration fee.
